What I do

Andie Slodowicz is an ICF-credentialed executive coach specializing in executive presence for women leaders. She works with women directors, vice presidents, senior executives, and emerging C-suite leaders who want to communicate with greater authority, increase their visibility, navigate senior-level dynamics and position themselves for their next level of leadership.

Why? Because you’ve already done the hard part: the results, the expertise, the reputation for getting things done. My communications and presentation skills coaching blends the mindset work of executive coaching, the storytelling of a Fortune 500 brand builder, and practical communication skills you use the very next day.

Hello!

I’m Andie.

Colleagues called me the Pitch Whisperer.

I’ve always been a story person. As an English writing major, I read everything I could get my hands on, and I’ve never stopped being fascinated by what makes a story (or a brand) stick.

That love of stories carried me through 20+ years inside Fortune 500 companies like Disney, Coca-Cola and NBCUniversal, where I became the go-to person for high-stakes presentations. I shaped the story, sharpened the message and helped leaders walk in ready.

My confession: as strong as my decks were, I didn’t always feel strong delivering them. I have an accent (I’m originally from Argentina), and I’d often rather write the speech than give it. Learning to step into the spotlight my own way lit a fire, and it’s the heart of how I coach today.

As an ICF-credentialed executive presence and communication coach with Brown University coach training, my goal is simple: to help you find your voice, then cheer you on as we see how far it takes you.

The framework

Mindset → Message → Presence

Great communicators are built from the inside out. Each stage builds on the one before it, so the confidence you gain is real, and it lasts.

Stage 1

Mindset

Own your story

The confidence to lead any room starts with the story you tell yourself. We build a grounded, evidence-backed belief in the value you bring, so you walk in ready to lead.

  • Reframing self-doubt into self-trust
  • A pre-game ritual that sharpens focus
  • Confidence that holds when stakes rise

Stage 2

Message

Shape your story

Senior leaders remember clarity. We craft messages that lead with the point, pair insight with story, and give people a reason to act, drawing on 20+ years of Fortune 500 pitches and my own experience as an award-winner writer.

  • The Three-Sentence Spine
  • Story and data that work together
  • Openings and closings people repeat

Stage 3

Presence

Tell your story

Presence is how your leadership feels in the room. We develop a delivery style that is unmistakably yours: steady voice, purposeful pauses, calm command of Q&A, in person and on camera.

  • Voice, pace and the power of the pause
  • Poise under tough questions
  • Commanding virtual and hybrid rooms

The foundation: leadership that earns trust

Woven through every stage: aligning stakeholders before the big meeting, speaking up with impact in real time, reading the room, and building the credibility that makes senior leaders lean in the moment you begin.

Built for the moments that define careers

The board or CEO presentation

Recommend with clarity and handle every question with calm authority.

The promotion

Show up as the leader they already need at the next level.

The all-hands

Inspire a whole organization with a message that sticks.

The keynote

Say yes to the bigger stage, and own it.

What women leaders say after coaching with Andie

“From our first session, Andie gave me the tools and confidence to talk to my CEO on our weekly stand ups. Andie helped me curate the story I presented and better manage my pesky impostor syndrome!”

Katie T., Sr. Director of Finance

“I’m an introvert through and through. I was a master at writing presentations, but a total failure at delivering them. Sweaty hands. Heart racing. You name it. I would be up the night before my QBRs. And then I found Andie. We did a lot of work around mindset, about the kind of prep I needed, which is not what I was doing. I loved all her personalized feedback and how patient and knowledgeable she was. Though, I have to say, recording myself and listening to it was TOUGH. ”

Lindsay A., VP Marketing Ops

“Andie meets you where you are. I was a hot mess. I even asked her if I needed a therapist to overcome my presentation anxiety! My fear of presenting was (I thought) my best kept secret. It wasn’t. With Andie we tackled my anxiety from all angles – from what I believed about myself, from my strengths (I did have strengths!), from my worst-case scenario thinking. I learned so much, and now I’m using her same framework and techniques with my team. I can’t recommend her enough.”

Frequently asked questions

Executive presence coaching for women leaders: your questions, answered

Last updated: September, 2026

Why Andie?

Executive presence isn’t something you learn from a textbook. It’s something you develop by understanding how leadership actually works and how you’re perceived inside complex organizations.

Before becoming an executive coach, Andie spent more than 20 years in senior marketing, communications and leadership roles, including leadership experience at Publicis Groupe and work with global organizations including Disney, Coca-Cola and NBCUniversal.

Today, she brings that real-world corporate experience into her coaching, helping women leaders strengthen their executive presence, communicate with authority and make their leadership more visible.

What can Executive Presence Coaching help you do?

Speak with authority in senior-level meetings without feeling like you have to become someone you’re not.

Communicate your ideas more strategically so your expertise is heard and remembered.

Increase your visibility with senior leaders and key stakeholders.

Present with confidence and clarity when the stakes are high.

Navigate difficult conversations with greater presence and influence.

Strengthen your executive communication—from meetings and presentations to high-stakes conversations.

Build a leadership narrative that clearly communicates your value and point of view.

Step into a larger role with the presence and communication skills that role requires.

How do I stop getting nervous when presenting to senior executives?

Start with the story you tell yourself, not your slides. Nerves in experienced leaders usually come from feeling evaluated. A consistent pre-presentation ritual, a clear opening line and leading with your recommendation reduce that pressure. The 12-week intensive builds all three using your real upcoming presentations.

What does an executive presence and communication coach do?

An executive presence and communication coach helps senior leaders come across with more clarity, confidence and credibility: managing nerves, structuring messages for executive audiences, refining delivery and rehearsing real presentations. Andie combines this with ICF-credentialed executive coaching, so mindset and leadership are part of the work.

Can an introvert become a confident executive presenter?

Yes. Introverts often make excellent presenters because they prepare thoroughly, listen closely and speak with intention. The goal isn’t to become louder. It’s to build a calm, credible style that fits you. Andie’s coaching builds on those strengths rather than changing your personality.

How much does executive presence coaching cost?

At The Nice Leader, a single 90-Minute Strategy Session is $550. The 12-week Core Intensive is $3,600, or $6,000 for the Plus Intensive, with payment plans available. Many clients have their employer cover the cost through a leadership development budget. This executive presence coaching intensive is our most premium offering. For 1:1 executive coaching sessions only, please visit our standard services offering.

How do I overcome impostor syndrome before a big presentation?

Name the specific doubt, test it against the evidence of your track record, and replace it with a truer statement you can repeat. Pair that with preparation habits that build self-trust. This is the Mindset stage of Andie’s framework, and the foundation for everything that follows.

How long does it take to become a confident presenter?

Most leaders notice a difference within the first few weeks, once they have a pre-presentation routine and a clearer structure. Lasting confidence takes consistent practice, which is why the intensive runs 12 weeks with practice between every session.

What does “executive presence” mean, and can it be learned?

Executive presence is how clearly, calmly and credibly you come across to senior leaders, especially under pressure. It combines how you think, what you say and how you say it. It can be learned, and it doesn’t require an outgoing personality.

Is the coaching virtual? Where do you work with clients?

Yes. All sessions are held over video, so women leaders can join from anywhere in the US or internationally. Virtual coaching also lets us practice the video-call presence most executives need today.

How do I present to the board without freezing or rambling?

Lead with your recommendation, support it with three points, and prepare for the five toughest questions in advance. Rambling usually signals an unclear core message. The Three-Sentence Spine, taught in the Message stage, gives you that clarity before you build a single slide.

Can my company pay for executive presence coaching?

Often, yes. Presentation and executive presence coaching usually qualifies as leadership development. Andie provides a sponsorship proposal written for your manager or HR team and can invoice your organization directly.

I have an accent. Will that hold me back as a presenter?

No. Clarity, pace and structure matter far more than accent. Andie has an accent and spent 20+ years leading high-stakes presentations at Fortune 500 companies. Coaching focuses on being understood and memorable, never on erasing who you are. I often work with Spanish speakers as I’m myself fully bilingual Spanish-English. Coaching can be in English, Spanish or both.

What happens on the free call?

It’s a relaxed 30-minute video conversation. You share what you’re preparing for and where you want to grow, Andie asks a few questions, and together you decide whether the 90-Minute Strategy Session, Core or Plus fits. There’s no sales script and no pressure to decide on the call.

I have one big presentation next week. Can you help?

Yes. The 90-Minute Strategy Session is a single coaching session built around one upcoming presentation. We sharpen the message, rehearse delivery and prepare for tough questions. It costs $550 and is fully credited toward Core or Plus if you enroll within 30 days.

Should I choose Core or Plus?

Choose Core for the full framework and steady weekly progress. Choose Plus if you have high-visibility moments coming up, want line-by-line feedback on your actual materials, or want measurable feedback from colleagues. You’ll decide together on your free call.
